sn.architecture
modern. practical. a little snarky.
design for people who live in the real world
Most projects don’t need theatrics.
They need clear thinking, honest communication, and design that holds up once it’s built.
That’s where we focus: practical architecture, grounded solutions, and a straightforward process from start to finish.
OUR STUDIO
sn.architecture is a small, woman-owned and veteran-owned architectural studio based in Gresham, Oregon. We focus on modern, buildable design for people who live in the real world, with work ranging from residential projects, additions, and renovations to tenant improvements, accessibility upgrades, and code compliance consulting. Our work prioritizes function, clarity, and constructability over trends or unnecessary complexity.
We believe good architecture should be honest and achievable. At sn.architecture, we value clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and designs that respect both budgets and timelines. No unnecessary complexity, no inflated scope—just smart design that actually works.
We approach every project with a hands-on mindset, thinking through how it will be built as well as how it will be used. From small renovations to larger commercial work, we focus on solutions that balance creativity, efficiency, and long-term durability. Our clients appreciate that we speak plainly, set clear expectations, and carry projects through from concept to completion.
Sean is the principal architect at sn.architecture and a firm believer in saying the quiet part out loud. Licensed since 2019, she brings more than a decade of experience across commercial architecture—including multi-family, senior housing, hospitality, accessibility, and tribal work—alongside residential renovations and additions.
Sean is a no-nonsense, quick-witted designer who values clarity and practicality. She works closely with clients to turn ideas into well-defined, achievable designs—and isn’t afraid to crack a joke along the way.

Chris is a United States Marine Corps veteran. He studied architecture and has over a decade of experience across the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. His background spans architectural teams, facility assessments, engineering design, and hands-on construction.
At sn.architecture, Chris provides practical insight and behind-the-scenes support, serving as a mostly silent partner focused on keeping the work grounded, thoughtful, and buildable. Fun fact: he’s also married to Sean.
